Findings

Participating in an embodied workshop as part of an arts education pedagogy class may support diverse conceptualizations of learning through participation. Incorporating an intentionally designed movement intervention in a pedagogy course may support developing teaching artists across disciplines to integrate movement into their lesson plans and teaching. Intentional movement practices further seem to support the development of a learning community that values sharing and vulnerability. Movement was introduced as one tool to support expression and promote connection between participants.
